Rated 5 out of 5 by Katydid from Easy! I recently purchased this little Serger. I've had a lifetime of sewing but was always hesitant about buying a Serger. I feel I need to make up for lost time. I just love this little Serger. I found the threading a little complicated, and I am learning how to finish up a seam. But found that it's quite simple and love how it sews. And a very good price for it also!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dianna from Great machine Received as a Christmas gift. A little scarry but I read the book first. Then I took the machine and sewed. I was not satisfied so I started from scratch with the book and machine. Now I got it. Sews like a charm. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Exceptional entry level serger This serger, while simple, does everything I need it to! I've made PJ pants, I'm working on a lined wool skirt for my mother, and the quality of seams from this machine is so incredible. I feel like i'm making professional quality apparel! When you first set it up, make sure you tie your new threads to the existing provided threads and make sure they are not in the tension slots and feed them thru, then pull on either side of the tension knobs carefully before trying to set tensions. Get a big piece of scrap fabric and just adjust in small increments relying heavily on the examples in the Manual and you'll be all set! ***I used four different colors of threads so it was easy to figure out which tension needed adjusted, then swapped to whatever color of thread I needed by doing what I said above*** I am really looking forward to making many more apparel items with this serger and know that it will be invaluable to my work! Make sure you get used to the presser foot as the serger likes to sew very rapidly and that could bend your needles if you're not careful. I have had no problems with the machine whatsoever after about 12 hours of operation time.
